Dr. Jochen Brinkmann

Managing Director at hww Unternehmensberater GmbH

Since 2014, Jochen is Managing Director of hww Unternehmensberater GmbH, the Consulting Branch of the insolvency law firm hww wienberg wilhelm.
In addition, he is giving lectures at the University for Applied Science HfWU (Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Umwelt) in the Masters program for Turnaround and Insolvency. He has done several publications on turnaround and related issues and has a Board mandate at a Media-Funds. Since 2000, he is business-plan evaluator of the annual start-up competition “Dortmund project – start2grow”.
Before joining hww, he was responsible for restructuring at MAZARS. Before, he was Partner at BGP – Bohnert Group of Partners, Ratingen/Düsseldorf, Hamburg, being in charge of Restructuring and Corporate Finance. Before, he was Principal at LEK Consulting (focusing on Commercial Due Diligences) and started consulting at Roland Berger (focusing on Restructuring).
He has collected practical leadership experiences as Managing Director and Interim Manager in several insolvency proceedings, supporting the insolvency administration. Jochen helds a PhD in Business Administration from Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel.
